Palm Spring Modernism Week

Palm Spring Modernism Week is an exciting 11-day celebration of mid-century modern design, architecture and culture in Pal Springs,California. This design aesthetic, originated in the 1940s, 50s and 60s, was typified by clean, simple lines which came to define desert modernism.
Modernism Week is filled with variety of events including architectural tours, films, lectures and architectural symposium, educational events, and chic, fun parties in cool mid centuries modern homes ad boutique hotels.

Nespresso Candles- New favorite candle.


Swiss espresso maker Nespresso have created a unique line of candles as part of their widening lifestyle range which already includes tableware and silverware. The collection of five fragrances symbolises the wide range of coffee plantations in the world used by Nespresso, from Yemen to Ethiopia to Kenya to India to Nicaragua and to New Orleans. The candles were created by the renowned perfumer Olivia Giacobetti and are named Terre d’Arabica, Bois de Maragogype, Fleur de Moka, Grain Emeraud and Café Flambé. The Nespresso candles are available exclusively Nespresso stores worldwide.

James Reeve for Dries Van Noten.











Dries Van Noten discovered the series of works by James Reeve entitled ‘Lightscapes’ when presiding over the fashion jury at the Festival d’Hyères in 2010.  While viewing this series of photos, Dries Van Noten was inspired to incorporate the photographs into his collection for women for Spring-Summer 2012. The result of this collaboration of art meeting  fashion are a group of dresses, shirts, skirts and accessories from Van Noten’s latest collection for women which will be displayed alongside James Reeve’s nightscape photos of cities such as Beirut, London, Las Vegas and Marseille.
