Lotus Art De Vivre

Last May in Hong Kong, I had the privilege to be introduced to Sri and Nicklas, the two sons of Rolph and Helen Von Bueren creator of Lotus Arts de Vivre a Thailand- based labor of love, run today by the two generations of the Von Bueren family.
Named after the lotus flower, an important emblem of Buddhism, the company is legendary for its extraordinary pieces, inspired by the unique beauty and culture of Southeast Asia. Each creation is handmade by skilled craftspeople living in remote villages in India, Nepal, Indonesia and Burma, using local materials that read like a recipe from paradise—pearls, rubies, diamonds, emeralds, coconuts, silver and gold.
