Swedish designer, Sophia Edstrand, alumni of Studio Bercot in Paris, creative assistant of reputed jewellery designer Marie-Hélène de Taillac for several years, has created a collection of couture accessories under the name Sophia 203. The jewellery, belts and hairpieces are all hand made with a rare technique of embroidery and weaving, mostly used for th traditionnal wedding jewellery in Rajasthan, India. Her inspiration, as well as the name, comes from her surrounding and travels, her passion for colors and everything that glimmers. Spending more than six months of the year in Jaipur, in Rajasthan, the rest of the year she is dividing between travels to Paris, Tokyo and Stockholm.
